Dear colleagues,
We have the great pleasure to announce the 1st CellNetworks Conference about Cellular Networks. The conference will take place from 23 - 26 September 2010 in Heidelberg, one of the most vibrant, colorful and dynamic cities in Europe. In the name of CellNetworks, we would like to invite you to join us in four exciting days exploring complex networks within and beyond the cell with spotlights on
- Spatial and Temporal Dynamics of Macromolecular Complexes
- Neuronal Networks
- Cell Signaling in Development
- Virus Host Interaction and Assembly
CNC 2010 will strengthen the global role of cell biology in life sciences and in the interdisciplinary context of bio-physics and scientific computing. Our prime objective is to discover natures secrets and the molecular basis of life. With the conference we aim at exploring the communication among and inside cells.
We will discuss central issues such as ribosomal machinery and protein biology, virus structures and pathogens, for example HIV, cognition and neural plasticity as well as planar cell polarity and Wnt signaling and cancer. Furthermore, our program will reflect the state of the art in life cell and high resolution imaging focusing on the latest developments in imaging techniques and experimental.
To assist PhD students to take part in the conference, the GBM study group Molecular Cell Biology will provide travel grants for six PhD students. Eligible students will be selected based on their submitted abstracts.
We are delighted to be able to confirm that a number of eminent speakers have agreed to participate at the conference.
